Arkiplan Scrapbooks privacy
Arkiplan Scrapbooks helps you keep website inspiration alongside your saved drawing ideas in your Arkiplan client portal.
What the extension captures
When you choose Snip this page, the extension captures the visible part of that browser tab. You draw a box around the area you want to keep. Your snip includes a picture, the page title and its source web address, which is added automatically. You can review the picture before saving it. Visible page content may include personal information, so choose only what you want to keep.
The extension does not request access to your browsing history, cookies or every website in the background. It does not capture pages automatically.
Where your pictures go
Unfinished captures stay temporarily in the extension’s browser session storage. Captures expire after 30 minutes and expired captures are removed on the next use. Session captures are also cleared when the browser session ends.
After you sign in to Arkiplan and press Save, the selected picture, source address, title and optional note are uploaded to Arkiplan’s application and storage services. The image belongs to the project and Scrapbook you choose. People with access to that project’s Scrapbooks, including authorised Arkiplan staff, can view it.
How the information is used
Your captures are used to provide your Scrapbooks: saving, displaying and downloading your project inspiration. The extension contains no advertising or analytics trackers and does not sell your captures. Saved pictures are independent copies; changing a website or Playground design does not change an existing saved image.
Your choices
You can cancel before saving, remove the extension from Chrome at any time, or ask your Arkiplan project team through Messages in your client portal to remove saved images. Removing the extension does not delete pictures already saved in your portal.
